Deadline Party
Your Creative Project, Finished
Got a project gathering dust? A brilliant idea that’s been “almost ready” for months? Join the Deadline Party – six weeks of creative momentum, peer support, and actual results.
What is Deadline Party?
Deadline Party is a virtual creative accountability program that helps you finish what you started.
Designed and facilitated by Rebekah Lambert from The Freelance Jungle, the Deadline Party is tried and tested with outstanding results!
Whether you’re launching a business, completing an artwork, writing a book, or developing any creative project – this structured-yet-playful program gets you from “someday” to done.
Brought to you now by South Coast Arts, it’s where commitment meets community, and procrastination meets its match.
How it works
- Any project, any stage, any creative field
From established artists to emerging makers, photographers to performers, writers to small business owners.
- Accountability that actually works
Connect with fellow creatives online for one hour each week. Share progress, troubleshoot challenges, and tap into the positive power of peer pressure. Between sessions, you’ll work on your project knowing your crew is cheering you on.
- Learn from each other
During the application process, you’ll share not just your project goals but also how you get in your own way, and how you can support others. This creates a group of proactive, generous creatives who genuinely help each other succeed.
- Finish what you start
To graduate, you’ll present your completed project in a 5-minute showcase. Share the what, why, how, who, and where of your work, and inspire others with what you’ve achieved.
- Celebrate in style
The final week is the actual Deadline Party – an online showcase open to the public. It’s your chance to build pitching skills, market your finished work to the South Coast community, and celebrate alongside fellow finishers. For the audience, it’s an inspiring peek into what it really takes to bring creative ideas to life.
Ready to commit?
If you’re tired of “one day” and ready for “day one,” Deadline Party might be exactly what you need.
